Ohio State University, Humboldt State University, and Trinity College claimed the top spots in the first regular season USRowing/Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association Division I, II and III Collegiate Rowing Poll presented by Pocock Racing Shells.
Ohio State earned 20 first-place votes and a total of 485 votes to top the Division I poll. The University of Virginia took the No. 2 spot with three first-place votes, followed by Brown University in the No. 3 spot with two first-place votes.
In the Division II poll, Humboldt Sate held its first-place pre-season ranking with four first-place votes and 183 total votes. Barry University sits in the No. 2 spot with 163 votes and Western Washington University rounded out the top three with 147 votes.
In the Division III poll, Trinity College also held its preseason No. 1 ranking with 145 votes. Bates College sits in the No. 2 spot with 137 votes, followed by a tie in the No. 3 spot by Wellesley and Williams Colleges with 128 votes.
